Transition-metal-free synthesis of 3-sulfenylated chromones via KIO3-catalyzed radical C(sp2)–H sulfenylation
The reactions between o-hydroxylphenyl-functionalized enaminones and sulfonyl hydrazines providing 3-sulfenylated chromones via domino chromone ring construction and C(sp2)-H bond sulfenylation have been achieved under transition-metal-free conditions by using KIO3 as the only catalyst.
متن کاملMetal-free C-H thioarylation of arenes using sulfoxides: a direct, general diaryl sulfide synthesis.
Metal-free C-H thioarylation of arenes and heteroarenes using methyl sulfoxides constitutes a general protocol for the synthesis of high value diaryl sulfides. The coupling of arenes and heteroarenes with in situ activated sulfoxides is regioselective, uses readily available starting materials, is operationally simple, and tolerates a wide range of functional groups.
متن کاملPalladium-Catalyzed Enantioselective Narasaka-Heck Reaction/Direct C-H Alkylation of Arenes: Iminoarylation of Alkenes.
A palladium-catalyzed reaction of γ,δ-unsaturated oxime esters with oxadiazoles afforded dihydropyrroles in good to excellent yields through an intramolecular iminopalladation/intermolecular direct heteroarene C-H alkylation cascade. This unprecedented iminoarylation of alkenes was subsequently realized in an enantioselective manner in the presence of a chiral bidentate phosphine ligand (Synphos).
متن کاملEfficient silver-catalyzed direct sulfenylation and selenylation of rich arenes.
An efficient protocol for silver/copper-cocatalyzed direct sulfenylation and selenylation of arenes with aryl disulfides and diselenides has been developed. This strategy exhibits excellent functional group tolerance and high regioselectivity. Mono sulfenylation and selenylation products can be exclusively achieved. This reaction provides a simple and practical route to the preparation of aryl ...
متن کاملMetal-free oxidative olefination of primary amines with benzylic C-H bonds through direct deamination and C-H bond activation.
An oxidative olefination reaction between aliphatic primary amines and benzylic sp(3) C-H bonds has been achieved using N-bromosuccinimide as catalyst and tert-butyl hydroperoxide as oxidant. The olefination proceeds under mild metal-free conditions through direct deamination and benzylic C-H bond activation, and provides easy access to biologically active 2-styrylquinolines with (E)-configurat...
